How to set up and use your Origin Duo
- Unbox and check contents: Open the box and confirm you have two Slate Origin flossers, two 3-in-1 floss heads, batteries, and the guide. Remove any packaging tape from the floss heads. Keep the quick-start guide handy for battery installation details.
- Insert the batteries: Open the battery compartment on each flosser (usually at the base). Insert the included batteries with the correct polarity. Close the compartment securely. If the flosser doesn't turn on, check battery orientation and compartment closure.
- Attach the floss head: Align the 3-in-1 floss head with the slot on top of the handle. Press down firmly until it clicks into place. Gently tug to confirm it's secure. A loose head may not vibrate properly — always click it in fully.
- Start flossing: Hold the flosser at a 90-degree angle to your teeth. Glide the floss head gently between each tooth, letting the 12,000 sonic vibrations do the work. Move along the gumline and between all teeth. Don't press hard — let the vibrations clean. Rinse the head after each use.
- Store and maintain: Rinse the floss head under water after each use. Store both flossers upright in a dry area. Replace the floss head every 3 months or when the bristles fray. Set a reminder to order replacement heads so you always have fresh ones ready.
